We are seeking Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to take care of our patients at their homes

Essential Responsibilities
 

• Must be experienced in performing IVs, wound care, and home health nursing.

• Identifies, communicates patient and family needs and concerns with the Case Managers and the Director of Patient Care Services when needed.

• Provides care and services in accordance with the plan of care.

• Performs assessment and data collection in an on-going systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status, nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement and patient advocacy.

• Self-Development: Selects and attends education programs to keep current in area of practice. Utilizes new knowledge and skills. Annually prepares realistic professional goals and reviews their progress with the Director of Patient Care Services.

• Able to navigate in an iOS platform EMR system.

• Assists with implementation of the patient’s nutrition and pain management.

 

Requirements
 

• Current California Registered Nurse license

• BLS and ACLS certification by the American Heart Association

• Current fully COVID-19 and flu vaccination

• Valid California Driver's License, have your own car and with a clean driving record

• Pass the company's clinical skill assessment tests

• Pass the pre-employment screening tests required by Willow Pathway Home Health 

• Compassionate and caring demeanor

• Proficient of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance regulations

• Be able to perform 12 lead ECG

• Be able to learn the functionality and operation of a portable ultrasound device to facilitate access of veins for patients with challenged vascular access.

• Be able to learn and operate an iOS platform EMR system

• Wound Care certification or willing to learn and obtain certification.

• Ability to work well with the Willow Pathway Home Care team.
